ARRIVAL TO PUNO
We will transfer you from your hotel to the bus station in the morning.
You will take a tourist bus, the best way to travel between Cusco – Puno, where you will enjoy various places of magical charm and ancestral history such as: The Sistine Chapel of America or the Andahuaylillas Chapel, The Imposing Temple of the god Wiracocha, The Majestic Paso de la Raya (Road Limit between Cusco and Puno – View of the Nevado Chimboya) and the Mythical Museum of the Pukara Culture.
Lunch in the town of Sicuania Arrival in Puno and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Puno.
LAKE TITICACA UROS TAQUILE
Our adventure this day begins at 6:45 am. The transfers from the hotels begin at 7:00 am, the recommended time to depart towards
the islands of the Uros (floating islands). We will be meeting with the natives who share their ancestral experiences with us.
(Optional) Opportunity to take a walk on the totora rafts that cross the crystal clear waters of Titicaca.
We say goodbye to the Uros to continue the trip to Taquile Island.
We begin a 30-minute walk (level of difficulty: easy to moderate) to the exhibition point, enjoying meeting with local families. We can
observe from here the beautiful textiles made on the Island of Taquile. We can receive a talk about the interpretation of traditional
clothing and the lifestyle of the people of Taquile.
We begin the return to the main dock of Taquile. Along the way, we will have beautiful views of both sides of the island.
We will leave the port of Taquile, in the direction of the Chucuito peninsula. We will then enjoy a reception and lunch in the Aymara
town of Luquina Chico at “La casa del Pescador” (house of the fisherman), then we will return to Puno around 4:00 pm and
transfer you back to your hotel.
PUNO SILLUSTANI JULIACA
We will transfer you from your hotel to the airport and on the way we will make a stop where we can appreciate the Chullpas of
Sillustani that allows us to see the magnificent Kolla and Inca architecture. This site is unique in Peru and provides the
opportunity to experience the energy of this sacred place associated with the passage from life to death, surrounded by
impressive natural beauty and a variety of wildlife.
Finally, we will arrive at Juliaca Airport to catch your flight.
