The Colca Canyon is a geological formation apparently deeper than the great Colorado Canyon. Located 170Km. away from Arequipa. En route, you can see South American camiladae such as vicuñas llamas and alpacas, some pre-Inca ruins with cave paintings, beautiful Colonial churches and the Condor Nest, one of the largest areas.

Highlights of Colca Canyon Tour

One of Peru’s most surprising and yet underappreciated highlights – the Colca Canyon may be difficult to reach but, in the end, it’s worth all the effort under the Andean sun!

The Colca Canyon is the deepest or third deepest canyon on earth and certainly one of the most impressive. Not only is it twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, but we would say it is twice as magnificent, not only because it is the best destination in all of Peru to see the majestic Andean Condor.
